My grandfather fell off a ladder yesterday while cleaning out the gutters. They flew him out to UMMC from our neighborhood in fear that he had a brain bleed because he takes blood thinners. His head is OK but he does have 8 broken ribs, 6 chipped vertebra, a partially collapsed lung and torn tendons in his neck which requires a risky surgery.
I don't know what to say other than I'm scared. I know God is in control but I can't help but to be scared. Very scared...
