Poem

I sit in the darkness
my face is pale as can be,
I stare all around me,
but the darkness is all I see.

I'm blinded by the fear,
and i'm frozen in place,
I wish I could move,
but my heart begins to race.

I sink deeper in the corner,
I cry and scream for help,
the fear is taking me over,
I cry out, I scream, I yelp.

The fear is unbearable,
Father! I need You! Oi!
Please, Help me, I need You.
Please fill me with Your joy!

I'm in this pain for a reason,
You want me to be stronger,
I know You love me, O LORD,
the fear won't be here much longer.

I will get my strength from You,
Fill me with your love, LORD!
Cast the fear out, Father God.
Please, let me be restored!

I will stand up and move on,
With your strength, I will fight,
I will take a step in faith,
In this darkness, you are my Light.
